With training and experience in many different styles and genres, Robert takes an eclectic approach to writing which puts his clients’ vision and needs at the forefront. He is as comfortable with traditional symphonic writing as he is with sample libraries, believing that both have a valid and vital place in modern composition, orchestration, and arranging. He has been a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) since 2006.

His large ensemble works, “Seven Pearls Overture” and “First Light”, were read as part of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra’s Young Composers Forum in 2005 and 2006. In 2007, he was awarded 2nd Prize in the Houghton College Symphonic Winds Composition Contest for his concert overture, “España”. His music was featured on a book/cd set entitled “Bonding with Baby” which was used in studies at Yale University and recognized by the National Parenting Publications Awards in 2009.

In addition to being a freelance composer available for commissions, Robert offers transcription, arranging, and orchestration services with negotiable rates, quick turnaround, and a high standard of quality.
